Hi, I have been using a library for a connection-oriented protocol (SMPP protocol ), But after some Data transfer ( some Hours or days) I get the foll. error :-
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full 203.197.XXX.XXX :32612 at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress) at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(EndPoint remoteEP) Points to consider 1. This problem occurs in WINDOWS SERVER 2003 Service PACK 2 only 2. I cannot even send CONNECTION- INITIATING Packet of TCP after this error starts to come. No packet can be sent after this error has come. 3. Once the problem comes , it can only be resolved by RESTARTING the windows 4. I have googled it and most of experts suggest that I am not pulling ou the Data of sockets fast enough , but this problem occurs in an irregular fashion. Sometimes 5 times in a day , not -even-once in a Week. 5. If this exception is unhandled , then it writes in Windows Error- Log foll error Dot Net error 2.0 - windows runtime error - system.net.sockets Anticipating Help Thanks
