While i check our iis log for our asp.net application, i noticed that
there are some responses have unreasonable very long response time.
Here is more detail:

1. Our server right now is handling about 20-120 requests per seconds.

2. We are using asp.net 2.0

3. the long response time not only happened in db related page, but
also on some very small static page, such image file of a button, or a
small css file.

4. I tried to co-relate this with perfmon data, but I cannot find any
relation between CPU, disk queue or page/sec. I'm using 5 second
period to sample the performance counters.

5. It also does not relate to how busy the server is. Some spike
happened at very normal traffic time with number request/sec below
average.

6. Our IIS file cache hit rate is around 50%, but we have lots of
flushes because the files under website home directory are changing
all the time.

Can anyone shed light on this? Do we miss anything here?

Any help much appreciated.
