Okay, Brandon has much better observation than I do... I never realized from your first post that the input tags were missing a runat="server" attribute. It is quite natural that any page elements that lack this attribute will not be accessible at the server. Please try Brandon's suggestion and if it *still* doesn't work, we can investigate the problem further.
