Frankly speaking, I have had very rare success using it in VS 2005. It seems to work only in particular project types, yet the option remains available to other project types. Mostly, it raised a cryptic exception that I discovered after some research meant that it wasn't supported. It did give me the impression of being a hasty add-on.
