So, using .NET to write to CD/DVD media. Hrm. Okay, so the 'easy' ways are out (script to another app).
This one was actually difficult to search. Took almost 5 minutes. Best hits were on: .NET api create dvd and that led me to http://www.codeproject.com/KB/winsdk/IMAPI2.aspx and an article entitled Burning CD/DVD Media with the Image Mastering API Version 2.0 (IMAPI2) which is a C++/VS 2005 project, but of course, it's a starting place.
