Hi Cerebrus, Most of the articles talk abt “Silverlight Streaming Account” but now Microsoft has stopped it.
Most of the articles are old one. After encoding of video they show no of files to zip frm output folder but when I encode video, I get few files like Default.html, MediaPlayerTemplate.xap, Preview.png, sample.wmv, Settings.dat, SmoothStreaming.xap Actually I am done with the encoding part but don’t know how to use it on the web I mean on my localhost for testing purpose. I am into impression like as we do with flash player, can also be done with Silverlight player as well. What I want to do is :- - Embed Silverlight Player into web site - Encode Videos and put all encoded videos into one folder say “Movie” - Make “Movie” folder as Virtual folder. - Show Movies poster on the web( Localhost ). - Clicking on the poster should push encoded stream into Silverlight Player. - Silverlight should start playing that video content. If u hav any tutorial or helping link on this...pls let me know.
