Had a dinner meeting last night with boss who says that our company is slow to adopt Sharepoint.
What have the peeps here found to be low hanging fruit? We are a document Management company who sell BIG systems. So I already have a few workflow products at my disposal. We capture a lot of scanned documents in the court system and index them for retrieval later on. I write fetching systems that maintain enough data on a person and then query the system for what docs are available depending on your customer "status." Anyone have any pointers on how to fill in dropdown lists and then use that data to either fill a new list or to have a submit button that does a more complex operation? Have you found things to be difficult in Sharepoint that is easy in ASPX? Has anyone taken on filling in documents in say word due to what the user checks in the GUI? Is there a preferred data handling method, class objects or data tables in maybe a dataset? I already write WCF based systems so if that is necessary one issue is down and many to go.
