I use to use bitwise operations all the time for almost unlimited
capture of ever changing stuff for any type of client.

We had a sales team that would offer new "stuff" or options for
clients and it was hard to keep up. We chose on single column to
capture all of this stuff.

Delivery style FedEx, UPS, DHL
Use Cust #?
Standard Delivery Overnight, 2 day, 3 day
Allow Sat. Delivery?
<Other Questions but you get the point right?>

All of these answers are contained in one column and it was mapped out
into the class when needed.
