Dear charles, it seems you are get frustrated only because of your expertise in ASP, there are tooo much feature of dataset like bulk update insert and containing the relation as well as data of a result. also you can use dataset in oracle as simple as used in ms sql server,you have to just download oracle data connector and by using oracle.data namespace anything is possible so simply. after a few day learning you will definitely love asp.net.also if you want recordset you can use data adapter.
