Hello,
I am working in Visual Studio 2005 building a website. The previous
website was done in Perl. First off, please understand I have no
control over any database, I am only going in as “view only” access.
I wish it was setup differently, but I have no choice in the matter.

The current website is setup has the Ticket Number and Description.
One field each. The big issue I have is the description. The table
(ordersummarya15) it is in has one record for each line. For
example, the following:

TicketNumber RecordNumber CustomerReport
46685 1 Customer called in. Issues
46685 2 with the website. Referred
customer
46685 3 to technical support.
46686 1 NULL
46687 1 Customer called to
46687 2 order product from the
46687 3 catalog. Placed order for
46687 4 for customer.
46688 1 NULL
46689 1 NULL
46690 1 NULL

First off, I cannot do a sub report. The management wants to go to
this site and grab in one field “Customer called in. Issues with the
website. Referred customer to technical support.” Like it does now.
They just want to grab the entire description in one swoop. It is not
acceptable to them to have to grab each individual record and piece
together. It isn’t like that now and to them it would be making the
site less user friendly. Then if you click on the ticket number it
takes you to the detail for the record. All of the detail behind
that. Is that the ‘Set’ function in Visual Studio gridview?
