Hi all, In threading you synchronize access to shared data. I want to know what the "name" of doing the equivalent thing in databases being accessed by multiple processes/multiple machines so that I can Google to learn about it. If I Google for "database access synchronization" of course I get all results that are about synchronizing the content of databases (especially Access databases), not synchronizing access to databases in the sense that those words are used in threading.
