Role : SharePoint Developer Location : Shelton, CT Duration : 12 Months Job Description : Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have 1. Design and development of custom web parts, lists, workflows in Share Point 2010 as per business needs. 2. Good understanding of SDLC. 3. Good understanding of Content management concepts design and development of collaboration sites 4. The SharePoint Developer must possess a minimum of 5+ years in Visual Studio .NET with ideally a minimum of 2+ years of SharePoint development experience. 5. Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visual Studio 2010/.NET 3.5, 4.0 6. Experience with C# 7. Experience with ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> Good-to-Have : Previous experience with Oracle Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role The key responsibilities of the Sharepoint Developer are: * The SharePoint Developer will participate in design, development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process (workflow) and Forms, and Business Intelligence (BI), utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visual Studio 2010/.NET 3.5, 4.0. * Work with customers to provide task estimates and discuss technical options. * Understand and contribute to technical specifications. * Keep customers informed of any potential issues as they arise. * Work with customers to provide task estimates and discuss technical options. * Apply common design patterns and best practices when applicable to the solution * Assist in defining development guidelines and standards to be utilized in software development.
