In .NET the datetime is stored starting  from some date in PAST ( like 0023 AD to some future date) .   so whether or not you assign a value, you cannot go for null value comparision. I am sharing this bcz I had similar exp like you. The solution I tried was ,something like trying to compare the variable to see if the val contained in it is any different from the val comes into it by default.   I hope you got the idea..           View other groups in this category.
