Yes you can do it from back-end and from front-end use SqlTransaction class of ADO.NET , I am writing a code snippet to make U understand <o:p></o:p> SqlConnection conObj = new SqlConnection(<connection string>); conObj.Open(); SqlTransaction tranObj; tranObj=conObj.BeginTransaction(); // this is maps the BEGIN TRAN of sql server ///perform all DMLs tranObj.Commit() conObj.Close(); Hope this helps to resolve your pronlem.
