Hi,
Iam able to connect to SQL server 2000 Analysis services by giving the following connection string
ConnectionString = "Provider=MSOLAP.2;Data Source=<server>;Initial Catalog=FoodMart 2000;Client Cache Size=25;Auto Synch Period=10000";
But , when iam to try to connect to the SQL Server2005 Analysis Services, Iam getting the following error: "Cannot connect to the server. The server is either not started or too busy."
I wanted to use Office Web components' Pivot Table control to show a Cube in ASP.Net..
I am getting the same error when I try connecting through ADOMD also.
Also, I any one could provide resources/links for using Pivot Table Controls and Chart Controls with OLAP in Yukon, would be of great help.. Also, I need to write some custom MDX query to restrict the drill thru..
I want kind of information on the reportees of a particular user as drill through. But the user should be restricted to view the data of his superiors.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Varma.
