Pretty certain that's the only way to get at what you want. Not as simple as setting a url to some aspx page, but, I don't think there's a way to just call an aspx from an asp page. If You use an iframe so the webservice idea may be the easiest way to go if the aspx has the functionality you need for the asp page.
