Well Pavan, ur code is correct. But the little mistake seems to be in the line: int iIndex = lstIndustry.Items.IndexOf(new ListItem(s)); now replace this with: int iIndex=lstIndustry.Items.IndexOf(s); If this still doesn't work make sure the string s and the String in Listbox are EXACTLY the same. This must do the trick! I've attached a complete project demonstrating the technique. Happy Coding! |
