New Message on dotNET User Group Hyd Windows Services problem Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 1 in Discussion From: akash8768 hi, I am having two problems with windows services 1) when i try to install windows service using installutil,i mentioned Account=User in ServiceProcessInstaller property at that time it ask username and password and when i mention user name and password which is having admin privileges it gives error invalid account or invalid password.I also gave aspnet admin privileges and mentioned it login window still it is not working.It works fine when give Account=localsystem or localservice.Help in that case. 2)when i am using IISAdmin windows service in windows appliation using ServiceController.In ServiceController properties i mentioned MachineName as name of my machine and ServiceName as the service i am using.i also wrote Onstart sub in that i checked the status of that service whether is running or not when i run this windows apps it give me errror message--Cannot open service on this computer.
