Use extended Stored procedure by sql server 2000
Xp_Sendmail
this is stored procedure , it will send mail in backgrund thread

Hi,
I have to send bulk mail in my application by getting the e-mail Ids from the database. I am using MailMessage object to send the mail now. Each of the mail that is sent is attached with a Unique Id which I am getting from the database. so I am sending the mails to each one by putting it in a loop, BUT this process is getting very very slow and I am unable to perform any other operations until this is finished.
So Can anyone suggest me - what is the best possible way so that I can make the process faster.
