Job Title: Project Manager No. of positions: 1 Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Permanent
JOB SUMMARY: The role requires Project Control Management within a project or group of projects, and in consultancy support for projects. This role requires expertise in project control systems and processes, including project planning and risk management.
Duties and Tasks
Project Manager may undertake the following tasks: Manage quality management activities, and contributes to process improvements over time.
Budgeting, estimating, measuring progress and risk management.
Manage the resource requirements in terms of hardware, software and people, ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
Act as a mentor and ensure that the team works effectively.
Monitor process compliance, through sample checks, and take corrective action in case of non-compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Improve business processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance to strict planning standards
To provide schedule/planning support to multiple (two or more) module leads.
Adopt model program life cycle, ensuring the agreed program and project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout and ensure alignment with corporate standards
Risks and Issue management
Produce and collate reports from multiple projects
Should be able to analyze various project data for impacts from Requirement Change Requests, Critical Path Analysis, High Level milestone reporting, Resource analysis, etc.
Project interdependency management
Experience of planning & tracking against large rollout projects desirable
Experience in using Project Management Tools
Excellent People Management Skills
Sound Knowledge of SEI/ISO Processes
Proven leader to manage projects, vendor management, scheduling, and deliver high quality products.

Drive the best practices and use state of the art tools to ship high quality product, and come up with innovative ways to increase product development efficiency.
Measure and build best of breed project management processes and vendor management processes.
Passionate about his/her work and has experience driving complex software projects to release, and understands the complexities of working with vendors
These complex interaction and handling several projects require a Project Manager that can effectively drive a committed project, balancing the needs of the various players, prioritizing the project goals with full accountability, decide the proper resource balance, drive the schedule, and constant risk/benefit analysis.
You will define and measure the metrics for efficiency and quality.
You will work towards measuring year over year improvements in the organization agility and delivery.
Drive the proper communication and management process to maintain this multi-group relationship.
Proven track record of delivering and driving results.
An incredible drive for results, combined with a knack for solving deep process problems, and analyzing project risk.
Above all else, passion must be for results - and not process for its own sake.

Education Qualification:
Preferably graduate or Post graduate in computer science (or in any other related stream) with training and certification in the technical skills mentioned above. Prior Experience:
2 years and above of experience working on medium to large-scale integration projects.
Total IT experience - 5yrs.
