Please check whether all the SQL connections are closed properly , also if u r using the .Net check whether the objects like command,adapters are disposed properly using .dispose method.
 
Also "exec sp_who2 " in the Query Analyser and see under 'ProgramName' Column how many exec sp_who2

'.Net SqlClient Data Provider' are there. This will show how many connections are established with SQL Server.
