Key Skills required: Direct experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005, .NET 1.1/
2.0, ASP.NET (VB .Net), SQL Server, _javascript_(AJAX), HTML/DHTML, XML/XSL, Web Services, .NET Remoting, Messaging, Threading, OOP and Stored procedures.
Experience with using advanced third party controls like the Telerik or ComponentArt suite would be preferred.
Thorough understanding of Web Technology to include Cookies, Session State, Web Browsers, IIS, and SSL is required.
Performance tuning, code profiling, code review, hands on experience using Best Patterns and Practices
Advancing team development by building shared code libraries, and implementing coding standards.
Ability to create reusable user controls and components. A thorough understanding of Object oriented methodology, strong SQL and RDBMS experience needed.
The position requires the ability to work independently and work according to changing priorities and deadlines. Important skills also include: attention to detail, understanding of source control procedures, and a grasp of user interface concepts / issues.
