hi,
I think you can adopt the following way.
1. Create table to track the count of perticular transaction you want to perform once a day.
Or add a flag column to the table involved in this transaction, and make it 1 on successful transaction.
2. Check the count/flag in above steps from ASP.NET application, so that you are sure that you perform that database operation once.
