Hello there! We've been speaking here and there during weeks about our future association, the DoudouLinux foundation. Now I'm glad to let you discover the most important part of its statutes: its mission and ways of action. The mission is currently written this way:
“Promote the use of information technologies with children from their earliest age, for a goal of education, culture, entertainment and appropriation of these technologies, while making their use easy, intuitive, safe, pleasant and non alienating, for every child on earth without any discrimination of any kind.” We are not explicitly speaking of free software or free art, but once you've joined “non alienating” and “without any discrimination of any kind”, please tell if you find anything else that would match :). The means of actions can be (not exhaustive): * an full OS designed for children * online community and web services for children and parents * participation to meetings / salons / manifestations / etc. * promotion of free art As usual feel free to comment :).
