Yes, I'd like to organize icons differently and add accessibility features too 
:). Unfortunately everything is not possible yet, and we need a software 
replacement for this first screen as described in the following ticket:

Note that I'm looking for at least a volunteer to look for replacement software 
:).

I propose that you start organizing the ideas about graphic redesign (website 
or interfaces) on the 2 new sub-projects I created on purpose:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/graphics-gui

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/graphics-website

You can create tickets, sub-tickets, post files, write wiki pages whenever 
needed, to discuss these topics. I can also add the forum module to these 
project if you feel the need. I think that, to lower the traffic on our mailing 
list, these kind of discussion should happen in the sub-projects and then you 
can post regularly summarized information on our mailing list (or to me for 
inclusion in our weekly newsletter).
