Hi there!

I'm proud to announce that our beloved project has just blown his first candle
today :). Of course I'd like to thank (again) all the people who supported it,
got involved and helped to make it be what it is now obviously: a sustainable
project of a new kind of children-oriented distro!

I'd like to share with you the amazing (short) story of its growth, hopping
that it's just a small piece compared to our coming future :). And I have a
scoop, read carefully then ;).

* June 2010 → launch of the website, CD in 4 languages (ar, en, es, fr) and,
well, visitors + downloads = 0 of course!

* September 2010 → Marian (ro) and Sergey (ru) are the first new contributors,
5000 visitors + 1000 downloads

* November 2010 → DoudouLinux on Tomsk TV, 8 languages, 10,000 visitors and say
2,500 downloads

* February 2011 → 13 languages, 40,000 visitors + 10,000 downloads

* March 2011 → the OIN contacts us to join their umbrella, which we do :)

* May 2011 → our project enters the famous DistroWatch directory

* June 2011 → 15 languages, 80,000 visitors + 21,000 downloads, Debian folks
contact us to join their effort – the scoop ;), which we want to do

Well, obviously we're meeting success and our team is growing consequently
since we're now near 50 contributors, active or not, and 4 new languages have
just started :). I must say I could never have imagined such wonderful story
one year ago!

But I'm too gossip ;). I hope you'll all continue to like our project as much
as you've been liking it until now, because the road is still long due to our
ideas in excess! Feel free to share your opinion and ideas at any time to
improve anything, we now have many channels to do this. My latest words: I give
you an appointment for our 2 years anniversary that will, I hope, happen after
one year of good surprises ;). My 2 cents!

All the best!
JM.
