Hi, Interessing article. Thanks to point it. It bring some questions : - maybe a clear separation for the configuration tools obviously for parents - his comment for the new design of the CD "I am a bit skeptical that the "bright colors, cartoon characters everywhere" motif is really necessary, because I see all too many kids who are capable users of their parents' smartphones." It is hard to make a design for baby and big children and their parents :D - "At least one new feature is being discussed: a parental control to limit use of the computer to specific times of day. Given the project's goal to supplant game console and television vegetative-behavior, this sounds like an even more useful control than DansGuardian." => is it true ? DansGuardian can do it ? Do we offer this kind of tool ?
Is also a good review of Doudoulinux, absolutely original and not a comparaison with other children distro. Nathan Willis, i think i remember him. He was the journalist i see at Libre Graphics Meetint this year in Montréal. https://picasaweb.google.com/101590283798168545815/MyLGM2011#5607666577687277410 here you can see him, the guy on the right. I remember speak about Doudoulinux at the artist on the middle of the image, maybe Nathan hear me, but i don't think so ;) It's coincidence :) And i hope soon the guy on the middle join our project. He draw some very very nice illustration.
