Hi Oleg, > Sorry for not been involved in projects last days, that were personal > reasons for that.
Hope to see you back one day though ;). > Today I've know about new neat graphical app, pretty easy and > attractive from my POV -> Tupi (http://www.maefloresta.com/portal/) > > I think it can be a cool addition to DoudouLinux app stack :) I definitively agree. Indeed I saw Elisa the past week (in real life) and told her I'd like a tool to make cartoons like Ktoon but simpler. Her boyfriend then told me Ktoon wasn't maintained anymore, which may be quite problematic. Tupi advertises itself as a fork of Ktoon, that's just great then. I like its ability to let several people draw on the same cartoon in real time on a network :). It also seems to ship a tool to define character moves instead of copying existing frames onto next frame for each step. And it'll be available in Debian Wheezy, just perfect. However I think this kind of tool is quite complex and need good tutorials even for the older children. I hardly see us ship such software without a minimal good documentation. For the younger ones, my feeling is that a simplified interface would be the pre-requisite. I understood its main author tries to go to the LGM, has someone planned to go there too? It may be a good opportunity to discuss ideas with him. -- Cheers, JM.
