Sounds good :). You should take care of not keeping empty or damaged files in case of any failure in the whole backup process. As far as I'm concerned, I'm already doing frequent backup of our website using the files from the previously indicated directory: http://download.doudoulinux.org/website/ The file "snapshot-*" is the website (Spip) database while "spip-images-*" contains its images. My backup script runs everyday, provided I turn my computer on in the day! I'm keeping every file I download during one or two month, then only one per month during a year. It is using 6 GB on my personal computer and can only increase!
