I'm currently building what I believe to be the final 2013-02 :). The
installer now has all its main features. It is able to perform automatic
partitioning if the user decides to wipe out its entire disk (and yes,
he'll get a separated /home partition, unlike most of automatic
partitioning ;) ). In theory this should also be available in case there
is free space on disk for new partitions, while preserving existing
partitions. But due to the annoying limit of 4 physical partitions, I
suspect this option to not work (not tested, so testers wanted!).

Anyway, you are all invited to test this development release as soon as
it is uploaded, and particularly its installer (use a virtual machine if
you don't have a computer for that purpose). I have to write a blog post
telling how to use the new installer. This post will be later used to
update our website while preparing the 2.0. In the meanwhile,
instructions are written in a previous message:

https://mail.gna.org/public/doudoulinux-dev/2013-01/msg00019.html

Please also test persistence creation from the LiveCD since there is a
bug to fix that is supposed to be fixed in this release:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/issues/310

Unless a blocking bug is found, this build will be the final 2013-02.
I'll start to update our website to announce the new features as soon as
possible. Stay tuned!

Concerning the languages that I'm going to build, well, I may build
between 20 and 30 languages :). Ideally I should build all the languages
that have a team on Transifex. However, I'm not sure to have enough time
before my holidays ;) – and few languages have seen very low or no
activity at all since their creation. So I may upload additional
languages in March, days after announcing the 2013-02. If you really
want your language now, just tell me!

Finally note that I'll build only CD's, no USB image keys. The reason is
that I made trials of booting an ISO image file simply copied on an USB
key and, thanks to a magic patch of Debian Live, it works! I even
suspect this patch to allow booting on the USB key whatever the
bootloader you install on the USB key, unlike most of other solutions
that rely on GRUB2 only. I'll write another blog post about this. This
also need us to rewrite our DDL tool to create an USB key. So I think we
have to rethink the installer code in order to make it share its
interface with several other tools to be created or modified: USB key
creator, ISO relocalizer, keyboard layout settings, date/time settings.

Have good DDL trials!
