Hello,
I am testing 2.1pre3-zh_CN. Eveything is ok. Just ibus-pinyin can't
run on lxlauncher session.
First, i must run ibus-deamon on lxterminal, then the ibus icon,like a
keyboard icon, appears on the top right panel, just before the country
flag icon.
Second, i open the gedit, and input english, it's ok.
Third, i put down Ctrl+Space, want to change the input engin to chinese
input method, but when i type, STILL english. That mean: the ibus-pinyin
can't run in the lxlauncher-session.
Log out, then login the LXDE session, still no ibus icon. After running
ibus-deamon, ibus icon appear on the bottom right label. And,
ibus-pinyin input method run OK when i type chinese words into gedit.
So, what's wrong with the lxlauncher session????
And, how can we resolve the problem?

NB: I'm currently building additional languages for 2.1pre3 because I'm still
testing building DVD's from a server in a data center. French and English have
been uploaded, I'm now dealing with Spanish and Russian.

Hello,
I'm glad to tell you that version 2.1 is really on the way! I've
resynch'ed translations with Transifex yesterday and I'm currently
building a pre-version “2.1 pre2”. Few languages only are being
built,
currently en, es, fr, ru, zh_CN, cs and pa. The first 3 are already
online (or almost) on our dailybuild section:

Please take the necessary time to test it, and if you want your
language, just tell me. The main changes are the links to the shop
and
the contribute section that should now perfectly work. Note that the
shop is not ready yet, I'll tell you when you can test it for real
and,
why not, purchase our first products ;).
The planning is to start to build the official 2.1 by end of
November,
after the week-end of the 23th-24th because I'll be at an event,
Toulouse Capitole du libre that week-end. We still need to update the
online documentation and rebuild the PDF documentation. I'm sorry I'm
late because of several unexpected events. I'll do my best during the
coming 3-4 days. Anyway, version 2.1 will be out soon, just for
Christmas!
