Hello there! I'm glad to announce that Gondwana 1.2 is out since yesterday evening. DistroWatch has already published a news; hundreds of visitors are coming from all around the earth :). Many websites are already speaking about us in many different languages. I'd like to thank all the people who participated to the work achieved and hope you'll all continue to help.
I take this opportunity to tell that our project is now two years old, has strengthened and likely gained acceptance in the free software community. The total number of visitors on our website is told to be around 215,000 (Clustrmap figures) and the download figures are… hem… I don't have the precise figures but this is above 60,000 CD's :). Next step is a big step: the Gondwana successor, Hyperborea. We'll have to synchronize more than ever since we need to: * update translations * update CD graphics * complete CD development * update our website * update website graphics * update PDF documentations on CD's * rebuild all the CD's * test them I plan to publish a development version for August (2012-08), supposedly with almost all the features of Hyperborea.
