Hello there, I'm glad to announce that I'm currently uploading new dailybuilds for all languages (~ 40). There are already about 15 languages available. If you're eager to try these new builds, please check the real-time page:
http://download.doudoulinux.org/dailybuild/realtime.php The main changes are the following: * Most of the localization issues have been fixed. - Transifex source messages (English) are almost totally up to date for the 2.0. - The variant sr@latin is now generated from sr (Cyrillic) and integrated into a single Serbian CD. - Similarly, es_MX has been integrated to our existing Spanish CD. - KDE apps settings are now automatically changed with system language to follow the user's language. * All the translations have been fetched from Transifex on Saturday (6 Apr.), they are then very up to date. * The tools LiveUSB-write and Live-persistence have been updated and now have a progress bar. * Screens smaller than 800x600 like the EeePC 701 are now fully supported using xrandr panning to simulate an 800x600 screen. The few apps that were crashing on EeePC are now working like a charm :). * The annoying bug in TBO (comics editor) that was blocking the edition tool has been fixed. This application can now be used without fearing to loose your work. * The sound-setting session crash has been fixed. There are many other improvements. We are now very very close to the 2.0, I invite everybody to give it a try. I recall that the open tickets can be browsed online: http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/versions/15 http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/issues/gantt Right now I'm planning to switch to the documentation update in a week approximatively. I'm a bit late but the release 2.0 should still be ready for May :). -- Cheers, JM.
