Of course, you can make your syslog daemon filter the lines you do not want to see, assuming you're using syslog from within Dovecot, and have a syslog implementation running that can handle this (f.i. syslog-ng). Though I'm not sure in what situation I would want to discard information from my log files, unless it creates a DOS situation. Regards, Tom
