on my testserver , but it seems that this dont works since 1.2.rc8
ran into the same problem here.use "aptitude", search for "dovecot-common", press enter to get all versions listed, and install explicitly the 1.2.1-version. aptitude will complain about dependencies, so choose manually "downgrade to 1.2.1".
I ran in another issue with imap quota, see my next mail. Best regards, Anton
