The INBOX was already created on both servers before you synced. When this happens with other mailboxes Dovecot just keeps one of them as "box" and renames the other to "box_guid". But this isn't possible with INBOX. dsync could be smarter here and delete the other INBOX if it's empty, and possibly do some other stuff, but for now the only solution you have is to just not have the INBOX exist on the other side.
