[Dovecot] Dovecot SASL on another machine

Hello list,

is there a way to use Dovecot SASL Authentication for submission on a 
different machine dovecot runs?

e.g.:

Dovecot machine <-> postfix machine(for submission)

How can I authenticate my senders on a different physical machine 
against Dovecot SASL?
