What dovecot version is this? There was a bug found recently that autoexpunge
stopped expunging once it found first email in order which did not match
expunge criteria anymore.
It started from start of the mailbox and stopped when first recent email was
found. And if the mails were not in order it did leave rest of the folder
untouched.
