Hi all, Currently we are running 2.3, with a plan to move to 2.4 later this year.
Our current setup is two replicating servers, I have setup on my test servers a shared name space as this is a limited requirement at this time for an assistant to view their managers inbox. I had read here: https://doc.dovecot.org/2.3/configuration_manual/shared_mailboxes/cluster_setup/ For two or more servers Director is required because (taken from the docs): As mentioned in Director, you can’t have multiple servers accessing the same user at the same time or it will lead into trouble. This can become problematic with shared mailboxes, because two users who are sharing a folder may run in different servers. As this is a limited requirement at this time and we'll be migrating to 2.4 where Director has been removed (I read the Docs that there is an unsupported replacement) if I have both the manager and the assistant only accessing the managers inbox via the same server will I avoid concurrency issues (ie I presume mailbox corruption).
