Fortunately, URLs with parens work fine in HTML <a> tags.

Subject: [Doxygen-users] Parenthese inside URLs mess up Markdown-style links

Hi!

This Markdown-style link in Doxygen 1.8.1.1 fails:

        [Microsoft
documentation](http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/s3f49ktz(VS.80).aspx).

It incorrectly generates HTML for an invalid link with trailing text:

        Microsoft documentation.aspx).

Even escaping the internal parentheses has the same result.
I expect the ".aspx" to be part of the link, not part of the displayed text.

The URL itself is perfectly valid. :)

        Mike
