Hi!
Sorry, my mistake. From the homepage i downloaded the windows binary from the 
latest "tagged release", which i assumed it would be 1.8.8, but is not for 
surce 

I downloaded now the exakt 1.8.8 windows binary from the link a little bit down 
on the side and it worked as expected.
