Yes,

currently we do not need the chaining mechanism as every Job will be build,
because Jenkins will trigger this Job, because it just polls the repo, 
where all
components are stored.

You already mentioned that stuff. With SVN it was a little bit easier. 
Just poll a
subdirectory, I know that this is not easily possbile with GIT.

Just put it on a TODO list. The CI is still working, and that should be 
the major
point. Would be nice to "fix" it in the future, but not fixing it has no 
major
impact(s). Major point: keep the CI running.
