Hi All, process changes for "test" are high on the agenda and I am proposing one. Bigger projects sometimes have the concept of a 'tryserver'[1][2] and I wonder if it would help us.
Sometimes I have been too lazy to modify the launch configurations to connect to a different X Display, then start all four configurations, run the tests, wait for the result and I wonder if I am the only one? I have not looked into the details but we could create a special branch in our Gerrit system that will build and run and the STF tests in almost the same configuration as the real ones. comments? holger [1] https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReleaseEngineering/TryServer [2] http://dev.chromium.org/developers/testing/try-server-usage ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
