Dear developers,

please ignore my last mail, I accidently hit the send button.

I tested the changes / fixes below. So far everything is working fine, but I had problems to test two entries. I would be very happy if anyone could help me with this. Many thanks in advance!

Here are the two entries:

*[FIX] #3552437 *Smack Error Messages are shown to the User

--> Is there a way to produce a Smack Error?

Just unplug your network cable.

===================================================================

*[FIX] #3455399* no adding project to session by non-host (read-only)

Prevent calling the affected logic by GUI and business logic checks.

--> I don't really know how to test it and how it should look like. Here is what I did:

Alice and Bob are working on larger Project.
Alice invites Carl.
Carl accepts and chooses a destinition.
After Carl hits finish, everybody should be in the readonly mode.
Now Bob right clicks on a project which is not included in the current session and chooses add to Session.

Outcome: Alice and Carl get the invitation (although files are still submitted at the moment) and this invitation can be completed successful. All three participants could work on all shared projects.

The way I understood it, was to prevent Bob from adding a project when he is in read-only mode. Is that right? In that case the test would fail. Are there any other cases where the participants are in a read-only mode 8preferably for a longer amount of time)?

Participants are per default in write mode. You (the host) have to change them manually. Saros does not change
permissions automatically.

Best regards,
Sebastian

[UI] Change of "Test data transfer connection..." label

Changed the label from "Test data transfer connection..." to "Test Data

Transfer Connection" according to the Eclipse Guidelines.

Deleted ellipsis because it is an immediate action. It is performed

right away and there a no further options before the action takes place.

See http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/ui-best-practices-working-group/msg00310.html

for discussion on use of ellipsis by the Eclipse "UI best practices

working group". Furthermore according to the Eclipse Guideline 1.5 the

"Headline style capitalization" format should be used here.

[UI] Add Icon to open Preferences

Add an icon to the SarosView to open the preferences. In tests only 1 of

7 users noticed the Saros menu in the Eclipse menu bar, because users

rarely see plugins that hook into the main menu.

This makes them more aware of the possibility to change the Saros

preferences.

[FIX] not all files may be shared through partial sharing
