Thanks for hint how to get the message displayed. So "#3552437 Smack Error Messages are shown to the User" is fixed. Do you know if there is already a bug entry in sourceforge for the bug you discribed? Should we add one? Would that be a nice-to-have for the current release or a lower priority?

I can give you another bug, log in with wrong password, correct password. log in.

You will be disconnected after approx. 50 seconds (at least you will see the new message :P)

Dear Saros-Team,
we (Maria and Sebastian) tested all fixed bugs and new features for the Saros release 12.8.31.
All tests were successfull.
(1) We still had problems to replicate the smack error (#3552437). Maria (mariaspg@saros-con) disconnected from the network for more than 30s. During this time we made chat entries and also changed some files. Still there was no error message displayed at all. After reconnecting there were no inconsistencies on both sides and the chat messages typed in during the disconnection were queued and displayed in the correct order. @Stefan: Could you please describe a scenario for us to replicate the fixed smack error? Is it even neccessary to test this? Looking at the review (http://saros-build.imp.fu-berlin.de/gerrit/#/c/201/4) <http://saros-build.imp.fu-berlin.de/gerrit/#/c/201/4%29>this is a small change. Instead of displaying the e.getMessage() a much simplier message is now displayed.

(2) Due to the change "[UI] Inform participants about Follow Mode state" some STF test cases failed. Therefore we already fixed and reviewed the new change that solves this problem (see Gerrit 224).

(3) During the test of "[FIX] #3455399 no adding project to session by non-host (read-only)" we encountered an old but unreported problem. Sebastian created a new SF entry for this (#3562501). It would be a "nice to have" if we could (a) fix this or (b) at least prevent Bob from inviting other participants while he is in read-only mode.

Attached to this mail are both our log files (Maria_2012-08-28.zip and Sebastian_2012-08-28.zip) concerning (3).

Best regards,
Maria and Sebastian
