Dear Developers,

the results of today's User Acceptance Test were quite promising. In short: The
Session went smooth and there's only one single bug, that is worth fixing for
this Release, and I already created a patch [1]. I already got two +1's and I'm
waiting for one more from Maria. After the submission of this patch, I don't
see any points hindering tomorrow's release of Saros 12.9.28

I created a bunch of new Bugtracker entries:
#3572497 [2] (Prio 5, Chat): Chat view does not open
#3572485 [3] (Prio 4, UX): Buddy-independent actions are shown in context menu
#3572488 [4] (Prio 4, UX): Annoying replay of chat history
#3572492 [5] (Prio 4, UX): Cut explanation text in "Add Projects" dialog
 #3572490 [6] (Prio 3, UX): Not-so-smart pre-selection in "Add Projects" dialog
#3572498 [7] (Prio 3, UX): Deactivate "Add to Saros Session" for read-only
users
#3572483 [8] (Prio 2, UX): SessionView Entries are sometimes collapsed

Also one old bug showed up again. I added comments pointing to the logfiles and
timestamps. Maybe someone is able to find some clues:
 #3512804: Inconsistency after an invitation

Additionally there were two strange situations, which I didn't put into a bug
tracker entry:
 * Around 14:43 the four of us had a disagreement over how many lines a shared
file actually has. Since the content of the file was duplicated multiple times,
I think that the Java code collapsing utility in Eclipse simply stumbled upon
this. I shortly looked into the logfiles and it looks like something was really
weird at this point.
 * Around 15:07 Stephan and Julia both weren't able to complete the Session
invitation which I initiated. During this stage, every change of their color
affected the other one: Julia switched to a lighter blue, and Stephan
immediately got the same color.

I didn't create bug tracker entries for these because (1) I'm not sure whether
Saros is responsible for this and (2) the whole color changing stuff while be
very different soon.

The logfiles are now hosted on our build server [9].

Best Regards,
Franz
