Dear Developers, around 13:15 today we finished our Acceptance Test of Saros 13.12.6, and we were quite delighted! I had some other things to do in the meantime. But now I present our complete feedback.
There is only one tiny issue that might (!) indicate a problematic behavior of Saros (see new bug here [1]). This issue is minor, no data loss, or other nasty things occurred, so we see no need to fix this for the current release. However, we encountered two issues that need to be addressed before Saros 13.12.6 can actually be released: * Update "GettingStarted", Documentation Tracker #121 [2] * On the beta-update site: Saros was listed under "Uncategorized" instead of "DPP" --> make sure the official update site lists it correctly. In addition (i.e. "not necessary for this release") we came up with a bunch of amendments for the Saros GUI : * New preference page "Personalization", Feature #109 [3] * Restructure dialog "Add XMPP/Jabber Account", Feature #110 [4] * Add menu item "Add Account..." to Saros menu, Feature #111 [5] * Add menu item "Connect/Disconnect" to connect menu, Feature #112 [6] (Stefan already worked on Feature #110 and completed #111. Thanks for that!) Further documentation-related issues: * URL-Issues: #122 [7], #123 [8], and #124 [9] One final notice to all of you: I made use of the tracker system, and so should you. * Please create a Sourceforge account, in case you don't have one yet. This is necessary to assign yourself (or get assigned) to a certain ticket. * When you start working on a task, please set yourself as the "owner" of the ticket in Sourceforge. This is really helps our coordination since we don't sit in the same room all the time.
