Dear Saros developers,
Next week, I want to conduct a first usability test on the first prototype
of Saros with a enhanced action awareness features. Action awareness
refers to the understanding of the activities and intentions of other team
members in collaborative work. Your feedback helps me to understand which
new features are helpful for you and to identify other issues, problems or
wishes regarding the prototype and its functions. Everyone is invited to
attend.
Only with your help I can identify where more action awareness information
is needed, where the transferred information are too much or too less, what
place is appropriate to display the action awareness information and, in
general, what can be improved else.
The test will take less than an hour and each test user can attend from
everywhere from his own machine, only an audio connection (e.g. Skype) an a
webcam should be. For the test each participant simply needs to attend an
Adobe Connect web-meeting via his web browser. That’s all ;-)
To get individual feedback, I would like to do a short Skype-interview with
each participant after the test.
Ideally, the tests shold be conducted during the next week (CW 31) from
Tuetsday. Please just tell me what times would be good for you.
