Update: saros-project.org is online again.

Our IT staff probably used an outdated Firefox plugin, which indeed reports
"7.27" for our website.
The Chrome version of that plugin, the website version of that tool, and --
most important -- the Drupal files themselves report "7.32".
That was enough to convince them and we're now back online.

I subscribed to the Drupal security news feed to prevent longer periods of
having a vulnerable website and putting our IT staff into the position of
having to block our site in the future.

Update:

I finally gained write access to the web space, I immediately updated our
Drupal installation, and asked our IT staff to make the website publicly
available again.
After nearly seven hours they reacted by refusing to do so, because some
obscure Drupal version checker tool says we only went to version 7.27 instead
of the most recent 7.32.
Needless to say I did install version 7.32 and Drupal itself reports 7.32 (of
course) ...

Everyone who is able to use the HTTP proxy of our university can still access
the website; all externals will have to wait until I found a way to convince
our IT staff ... *sigh*

Our IT staff shut off the website from the public on Friday, because some
security updates of the Drupal installation were missing.
I immediately tried to run an update, but I had no write access to these files.
I'm waiting since Friday early afternoon to have our IT staff grant group level
write access (they have root access).
They should be able to do so on Monday, so I'll will run the updates around
noon, and we can expect saros-project.org to be online again on Monday
afternoon.

Hi dear devs,

I just noticed that the Saros Homepage at saros-project.org is unavailable(more
precisely it states access is forbidden to it).
Is this intentional?

Cheers,
Arsenij
