Yesterday, I noticed that our Git replication (from Gerrit to GitHub and Sourceforge, the latter triggers the automatic mails on the dpp-robot list) stopped working. The according background tasks were created and scheduled for execution by Gerrit, but never actually performed. Since the replication configuration hasn't changed recently, I tried the according git push commands by hand, and they worked. Since Gerrit uses a Tomcat thread pool for these kind of tasks, I figured it might be exhausted, so I restarted the Tomcat -- and voila: the replication works again.
